We've got a bumper crop of tomatoes around here! Only 2 plants but they are very prolific. I've had plenty of fresh tomatoes lately, and have also tried my hand at making some tomato sauce and freezing it. I'm going to try that again this weekend, but do seasoned tomato chunks that Husband can use in his chili. I've been wanting to learn how to can for awhile now, but just haven't had the time to get it done. Maybe next year!
Speaking of chili, we also planted chili peppers and jalapenos, which have also been pretty fruitful. This past weekend Husband made the first chili batch of the fall season, which always seems to happen around the end of August/early September. He used several of the chili peppers and oh boy did they BURN! Hurts so good. We all like spicy, but this batch had a bit of a different kick. I had to cowboy up to finish the bowl, and Husband and Brandon had to get into the antacid afterwards. We grow some good peppers!
Anyway, for the real point of this post...awhile ago I pulled this freak of nature off the tomato plant.

It's two tomatoes stuck together! Such a feat deserves a great name. So I ask you this...if it were a sculpture in an art gallery, what would you name it?
