Is Tomorrow Monday Already?

This weekend flew by WAY too fast. I picked Brandon up at around 2PM on Friday because he didn't have school. We got home and spent a couple of hours playing Guitar Hero and other games on the Wii, which was pretty fun. Once Husband got home we ordered pizza and hung out, and the boys did a little gaming on the computer. I went to bed around 10:00, I was tired!

Saturday was a pretty laid back day, though I did get a few things done around the house. I'm trying to do a few small clean-up/organization projects each weekend. My motivation is the thought of moving all of our stuff into a new house...and remembering that we always have more than we think we do! If all goes well with the inspection we'll close on the new house March 28th.

Saturday night we met up with my aunt and uncle, Tony and Jennifer, and cousin Jon for dinner. Jon currently lives in Panama but has been in town since last Wednesday night for some activities to start his MBA program through Concordia University in St. Paul. I picked him up from the airport and he stayed with us on Wednesday night, then dropped him off Thursday morning at his hotel. Tony and Jennifer came up on Saturday to see him, and we all had a nice dinner and a good time catching up.

Lastnight when I got home I was thinking, "oh, I have all day Sunday to relax..." Not so much. I almost forgot I had a baby shower to attend this afternoon. It was held a little ways out of town, so I was gone from about noon to 5:30. Tonight I will have the opportunity to relax, but now it seems like Monday is coming way too soon!

Some of you may have tomorrow off for President's Day...Brandon doesn't even have school. I don't remember ever getting a day off from school for that holiday, do you?
