Lucy came with me to vote this morning. She was very good, but as we were walking out she didn't believe we were done yet. "But...where is 'Rock Obama'? 'Ritt Momney'? They are supposed to be here!" Apparently they were talking about the candidates at school the day prior, and she thought they should be showing up.
When we got to her school, they had a voting booth set up for the kids to vote for the afternoon snack - cookies or goldfish. Cookies won by only one vote!
Lucy also got to go with Daddy to vote after school, so she was well educated in the election process today. As was her big brother...today was the first time that Brandon could vote, and I'm proud to say he exercised his privilege.
Good voter turnout for the Laabs family!
