It's Like He Never Left

Husband is gone tonight, at some company meetings at the illustrious Diamond Jo Casino in Northwood, IA. We were just talking this morning how I might not see him until Saturday night, because I'm thinking about going down to Iowa if my niece/nephew is born. So it will be a couple of days, but luckily when I came home tonight I noticed that he left a few love notes around the house for me:

*medicine cabinet door wide open in the bathroom
*packaging from new shirt left on the bedside table
*kitchen cupboard and drawer ajar
*empty cup on the coffee table

Believe it or not, it was actually kind of comforting. :)
